Check in Policy

Online Check In

Philippine Airlines allow online check in, and so passengers can visit the web check-in page, quote their booking reference and last name. This facility is open before 24 hours to the last hour of the flight departure scheduled time.

Airport Check In

Passengers who cannot do online check in or look for special assistance must check in with Philippine counter at the airport. Visit the check-in desk at the airport, and it should be done 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Arriving in advance for international flights gives enough time to complete the process of check-in, security, and baggage drop.

During the special days such as religious celebration day such as All Saints Day, the airline requests passengers to arrive three hours before for international flights and two hours for domestic flights as per the scheduled departure time. This is due to heavy passenger traffic.

Baggage Allowance

Each ticket has a baggage allowance. You can travel with more baggage; however, free baggage is allowed as:

Carry-On Baggage

This is applicable to all passengers, right from economy class to business class. Passengers can take carry-on baggage such that it should fit the overhead bin or sit under the passenger seat.
