The former name is VivaColombia. It offers low-cost air services and it has its headquarters in Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia. It is a subsidiary of Irelandia Aviation. It equally remains the third largest of all the airlines in the country.

It had only two options of aircrafts. These were the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737. The airline then acquired more aircrafts and fitted the A320 with CFM engines. It equally covers 2 other international routes, which are Miami and Lima.

The passenger boarding any of Viva Colombia’s aircraft will have access to one piece of hand luggage for free. The hand luggage must not be heavier than 6 kg.
The dimension of the hand luggage also must not be more than 40x35x25 cm. Passengers can equally bring carry-on luggage for free if the carry-on luggage is not heavier than 12 kg or 26 pounds.
The carry-on luggage must also not be bigger than 55x45x25cm. Furthermore, each passenger will have access to free priority boarding with group 1.
Under the VivaMaxfare, the passenger can bring one carry-on luggage of 12 kg into the cabin. The service makes it possible to bring a bag as heavy as 20kg or 44 pounds.
